On site for every session, coaching your people in your building on your equipment. Twenty years of coaching, and the one who writes the programming your team runs between visits.
A first responder's health is not personal. It is operational. We build the culture that keeps a crew ready: coaching delivered on site, programming built for shift work, and an app your people actually use.
Most department fitness initiatives lose people by month three. Not because the programming was wrong, but because it was written for a gym, and the job does not happen in one. Training on shift gets interrupted. It runs on four hours of sleep. It uses whatever equipment ended up in the building years ago. Everything below is built for that reality, and structured so a session can be interrupted, resumed, or abandoned mid-workout without losing the training effect.
The Mundelein Fire Department has been Creating The Culture since April 2026. The department is now in talks to renew and increase our hours on site. That is the proof your leadership can point to, not a projection on a slide.
Aggregated feedback from Mundelein firefighters after their first cycles on the program.
Most had never had real coaching brought into the house. The common thread after: glad they said yes.
The work is getting easier and carrying over onto the job, with more in the tank when it counts.
The habits spill into life outside the station, with factors at home pulling the same direction now.
More check-ins and conversation, guys helping each other with form, and a friendly competition that pulls everyone up.
We scope every partnership to the reality of your department: headcount, shift pattern, station facilities, and what success actually looks like to your leadership.
Built for fire departments and first-responder agencies. The same program runs for municipal teams and companies of 15-150+.
Budgets go to equipment half the team never touches, and it depreciates the day it is bought. Expertise turns the gear you already own into results, sets a culture, and compounds in value every year. Same dollars, higher and renewing return.

We've spent two decades coaching athletes, comeback clients, first responders, and busy professionals. We built holiAthlete to set cultures of health inside organizations, the kind that change how people live, not just how they train.
Mundelein did not work because we designed it perfectly on day one. It worked because the first version was wrong. We came in without a mandate on purpose. We wanted to see the real culture and the real environment before prescribing anything. After the first session it was obvious how unpredictable a station is, so we rebuilt around it: individual time with members, a walk through every station, mapping the daily routine and the actual movement patterns of the job. The crew told us firsthand what this career does to a body and a mind, during service and after it. That input is what took participation from about half to over 90%.
One member came in on his day off, with a newborn at home, because of what the program had become to him. That was the moment we knew the culture had shifted, and the culture was always the objective.
That is the whole approach: not telling people what to do and leaving them helpless without us, but teaching them what to do and when, so the results hold up when the season of life changes.

Your first call and the one who handles the logistics: scoping the program to your headcount, lining it up with your budget cycle, and building a schedule that survives real shift work.
The body takes the loads and the long shifts. The mind carries the moments that do not leave when the shift ends. And a crew that has not been through anything together is a group of individuals wearing the same patch.
Health, mental fortitude, and cohesion are not three separate programs. They are one culture, and it either gets built on purpose or it does not get built at all. That culture is what turns a roster into a team that performs when it counts, and looks out for each other off the clock.
That is the work. Let's talk about building it in your department.
